Three Arsenal players seem to be close to the door as we move into the final few weeks of the transfer window. The three players are Mustafi, Sokartis and Lucas Torreira.
Shkodran Mustafi could be on his way to Lazio despite not being fit to play for Arsenal. It’s somewhat ironic that the club are able to transfer him out when he only has one working leg. Then again, he’s played like that’s been true since he arrived in London.
Reports in Italy believe the fee could be in the region of €10m-€12m which, for Arsenal’s most expensive defender in the history of the club, is a bit sad. He’s valued at around £13.5m.
Another center back, Sokratis, looks like he’s off to Italy too , but only, as has been the case all summer, if Napoli sell Kalidou Koulibaly.
Sokratis is valued at £7.2m but I doubt Arsenal will see that sort of feel especially as he’s out of contract next summer and not in Mikel Arteta’s plans.
Lucas Torreira is definitely on his way out, the only thing remaining to find out is ‘where to?’ and ‘for how much?’
Torino have been the main club linked with the midfielder until recently when he suddenly became a bargaining chip in Arsenal’s chase for Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey . He’s valued at £27m and Arsenal look like they will get around €24m for him.
