Kolasinac wants Germany return
Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac is reportedly keen on a return to Germany and a reunion with Schalke 04 where Arsene Wenger signed him from in the summer of 2017, that is according to German publication, BILD.
Arsenal have been in the market of recent for a new left back, having deemed Kolasinac incapable of filling the position efficiently, and the signing of Kieran Tierney effectively sealing Kolasinac’s role as a back up. The player is believed to be keen on a starting role and would be interested in a return to Germany.
Mikel Arteta speaks on the transfer window
Mikel Arteta has made his feelings known on the matters of transfers as it has to do with Arsenal, having been quizzed on them.
Arteta on his transfer plans, “We are trying to assess in the market to improve our balance in certain positions and improve the quality. But my biggest fight is to convince these players we can fight with these clubs in the long term, and that they are better than what they showed last year.“
Arteta on the transfer window closing 5th October after the season starts, “It’s not ideal. It creates a lot of uncertainty in the club and in the players’ minds about the future. But we try to be fair and be honest with everybody, and do our business in the right way.”
He further added, “I have to make the right decision with everybody on board. We know what we are trying to achieve. Hopefully we can do it. That’s my job.”
Arsenal hoping Aubameyang signs first
