Matteo Guendouzi has been making the rounds in the media recently with talks of an ongoing riff with those at the head of the club, chief amongst them being Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta.
As per reports from David Ornstein of The Athletic, Matte Guendouzi has been training alone since the 2-1 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion with the player refusing to render a demanded apology for his action on Brighton player, Maupay. The same report said that was not the only I’ll mannered behavior the midfielder has exhibited with a number of previous ones, also a major factor in his current treatment.
French publication, Lé Equipè is now reporting that Arsenal will have placed a €40 million price tag on Matteo Guendouzi with the Gunners willing to let the young talent leave.
Matteo Guendouzi is no doubt a talented player who could go on to be one of the best in his position but at the state of the club, attitude problems are very well the last thing we can accommodate and putting him up for sale may be the best solution at this point.
For the stated price, it would be a huge profit on a player who cost under €20million just under two years ago and would go a long way in boosting the transfer funds available.
