According to reports in London, Arsenal are setting make a £10 million bid for Brentford first choice goalkeeper David Raya.
With Emiliano Martinez on the verge of signing for Aston Villa in a £20million deal, the Gunners will invest half of those funds in bringing in a replacement and a backup for current no 1 Leno.
In addition, the report states that the 25-year-old is said to be keen to play Premier League football, though would be brought in as backup fod Bernd Leno.
Interestingly, Arsenal target Raya was omitted from Brentford’s squad for their Championship opener with Birmingham City amid transfer interest from Arsenal.
Is this the clearest hint yet that he will be on the move this summer?
