Arsenal are already resigned to losing English wonderkid, Folarin Balogun with the club unable to come to an agreement with the youngster on a professional contract term and reports also suggesting the player does not see a route into the first team, with the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette already inhabiting the striking position in the senior team, and as a result, is pushing for a move away.
Championship promotion candidates, Brentford are the current front runners to sign up the young talent and have already approached Arsenal and the player over the cost of a potential transfer.
According to a report from Sky Sports, Arsenal have placed an £8million price tag on the player, however, Brentford deems this too expensive for the 19-year-old and is hoping to cut down the price to something more affordable.
The potential loss of Folarin Balogun would be a huge blow as he has shown and proven his undoubted talent across all age groups he’s played in. Folarin has Balogun scored ten(10) times in fifteen(15) appearances for the Arsenal youth team in the just-concluded season.
