Arsenal confirmed contract decisions of four players last month and one of those players was on loan Spanish midfielder, Dani Ceballos whom the club extended his loan for an additional month to enable him complete the season with Arsenal. There have been talks however of keeping Dani Ceballos even beyond this season and Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has opened up in if he’d like to keep the midfielder beyond this season.
“Yeah, we are talking to the club. Obviously we don’t own the player, he’s not in our hands so the clubs will need to have communication and see what we can do” he said.
Arteta praised his attitude and passion towards the team with the Spanish midfielder on numerous occasions showing a level of commitment and passion not seen very often in players.
“I’m really happy with him, the way he’s evolving & I love how much he likes to play football. The passion he puts into every training session & game, you just have to see his celebrations. I think he’s evolving in the right way & becoming a really important player for us” he concluded.
Dani Ceballos has impressed in bits and parts since his arrival but it is still very clear how talented he is and would be a good addition to the team for next season.
