Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has praised defender, Hector Bellerin for his performances so far this season, as quoted by sport outlets.
Arteta has said that the right-back is looking to improve all the time, and believes that the 25-year-old will get much better.
The Arsenal boss made the comments following the Gunners’ 2-1 win against Sheffield United at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
Arteta told sport outlets about Bellerin: “It’s no secret. He demandsall the time to do more individual work, to improve in the final third, he’s doing a lot of reviews, a lot of individual defensive work in things he has to improve. When you do that you get rewarded.
“Maybe it won’t happen in the first week or the first month but over time he will improve. He had a difficult period as well, his head was doubting because of the time that he has been here, a lot of things were happening in the background.
“I trust him. I know him really well. I know how much he can still improve and he is showing every day that he’s willing to do it. I’m pleased because I really like him.”
