Arsenal loanee, Henrik Mhikitaryan who was on loan in Italy for AS Roma has today joined the Italian club on a permanent basis, with the club and the player having mutually agreed to terminate the player’s contract and let him move for free.
Henrik Mhikitaryan joined Arsenal as part of a swap deal that involved former Arsenal wideman, Alexis Sanchez moving to Manchester United and the Armenian going the other way.
Mhikitaryan enjoyed a bright start to his Arsenal career having laid on a hat trick of assists in his debut against Everton and would go on to put in some top notch performances. Inconsistency however muddled his game as he would blow hot and cold occasionally.
Arsenal sent the player out on loan at the start of last season to Roma where he has enjoyed a quietly successful stint, and now after mutual agreement, the player’s contract with Arsenal has been terminated and he has now joined the Italian team on a permanent basis.
