La Liga Club Valencia make contact with Arsenal over a loan for midfielder Ghuendozi.
There hasn’t been the transfer interest in Mattéo Guendouzi that perhaps the player expected this summer. With Arsenal prepared to part ways with the Frenchman, they haven’t yet been given the opportunity to do so. With little or no club interested in signing him, he might remain at Arsenal this summer.
Mikel Arteta has now made it clear that Ghuendozi can have a second chance with the Gunners, and be reintegrated into his plans.
But now a club has come forward, and that’s Valencia, as reported by news outlet in Spain on Friday afternoon. Having already seen several key players leave in recent weeks, as they work to balance their finances, the club are hoping to bring a midfielder in.
Unsurprisingly, Valencia don’t want to pay and are looking for a loan without a mandatory purchase clause. Arsenal have been contacted, and there’s no information on what the response has been from the north London side.
Reports from Spain insist that despite Arteta saying the player was being reintegrated, Guendouzi remains on the market. Whether Arsenal will feel a loan deal is worth it, is quite another thing.
