Arsenal’s 2019/20 season is now full over and it very much ended on a high with the FA Cup trophy to show for it. Now all eyes are turned towards the summer transfer window amidst the need to reinvigorate the team.
The talks on everyone’s lips are inbound players with rumours swirling around the likes of Phillipe Coutinho and Atletico Madrid midfield general, Thomas partey, however, the need to offload many of the current players is probably a more pressing priority as it would go a long way in determining which player comes in as funds may very well be limited.
Arsenal could offload up to nine first team stars this summer, one of which is Alexandre Lacazette, as Mikel Arteta looks to raise funds.
Sokratis, Matteo Guendouzi, Lucas Torreira, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Sead Kolasinac could all be heading for pastures new, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
Lacazette and Hector Bellerin could also both be moved on if an appropriate offer is made despite being regulars in the Gunners first team.
Alexandre Lacazette enjoyed a fine 2018/19 which he bagged 20 goals and 13 assists but however failed to follow up the just concluded season with same form and may now be losing the faith of those at the helm.
Hector Bellerin is another player who’s form has dwindled, with the player failing to replicate the abilities he showed in the early years of his career. The arrival of Portuguese right back, Cedric Soares may have spelt the beginning of the end for Hector Bellerin.
