Reports in Germany claims Bayern leverkusen have entered the race to sign Arsenal right back Hector Bellerin.
With the sale of Kai Havertz to Chelsea FC, Bayer 04 Leverkusen has money to spend to reinforce their squad. They’ll use part of the cash to target Héctor Bellerín of Arsenal FC, according to The Telegraph.
Paris Saint-Germain is targeting the 25-year-old right-back as they look to find a replacement for former player Thomas Meunier.Psg has reportedly made a £30 million plus add ons offer per The Guardian, but it seems as though the North London club wants a bit more for Bellerín.
Considering that PSG and Leverkusen are both in on the player, Arsenal would like to squeeze out €40 million from all parties involved. With Arsenal doing some spending of their own already, they’d like to cover the cost of any purchases with the sale of assistant captain Bellerín.
PSG face competition for Bellerín, but Leverkusen is also reportedly in on Tottenham Hotspur right-back and former PSG player Serge Aurier. It will be interesting to see if the German club will pay a high price if the Ligue 1 champions choose to meet Arsenal’s demands.
