PSG are reportedly keen on a swap deal for Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi and are willing to offer Julian Draxler as part of the move. It’s a change of tune from the Champions League finalists, who have already turn down the chance to sign the French Under-21 international this summer.
Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal board have been trying to get Guendouzi off the books, after he was banished from the first-team set-up Last season following a spat with Brighton’s Neal Maupay, Guendouzi was ordered to train alone.
Arteta was prepared to show his ruthless streak, having previously clashed with the player in Dubai in February.
Guendouzi made his long-awaited return to training today ahead of the new Premier League season.However, his future at the Emirates Stadium still remains in huge doubt.
According to reports from French outlet L’Equipe , PSG are interested in a swap deal to bring Guendouzi back to France.
The Gunners want around £31million for the 21-year-old. But PSG are willing to include Draxler in the deal, as the attacker looks to get his career back on track.
