Club Brugge are reportedly unlikely to accept an offer of £20 million from Arsenal for Noa Lang.
Mikel Arteta’s side made significant additions to their roster in the summer transfer market in the shape of players such as Nuno Tavares, Ben White and Aaron Ramsdale.
The Gunners are now interested in strengthening their squad further when the transfer window re-opens early in 2022 and have identified Club Brugge’s Lang as a possible recruit.
There have been claims that the Gunners are lining up a £20 million offer for the Netherlands youth international in the winter transfer market.
However, the Belgians would likely not accept a proposal of £20 million from the north London giants for Noa, according to Belgian broadcaster RTBF.
It is suggested that the board would want a figure more than that sum in order to let the prized asset, who recently signed a new deal running until June 2025, depart.
Lang was also strongly linked with a move to Arsenal’s Premier League rivals Leeds United in the recently concluded transfer window, but Marcelo Bielsa’s side ended up signing Daniel James.
The 22-year-old attacker impressed at Blauw-Zwart last season and has carried his blistering form into the new term.
