Spanish LA Liga giant Barcelona hope to sign Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin on loan before the close of the transfer window, according to reports in Spain.
The Catalan club have reportedly met with Arsenal to discuss a potential deal for the 25-year-old, who has also been linked with Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and juventus this summer.
If Arsenal are unwilling to loan Bellerin to his former club, Barcelona plan to return with a player-plus-cash offer.
The expectation is that the Spaniard right back will cost around £18m and £23m, but that could prove too expensive for Barcelona after the financial impact of coronavirus.
That is why the Spanish team intend to bring Bellerin on loan, with a view to securing their ex-academy prospect as a long-term replacement for Nelson Semedo, who his transfer listed.
