Former Arsenal coach George Graham has aired his opinion on Arsenal’s £25million signing, Kieran Tiernety who has really not cemented a place in the Gunners’ starting team having been battling niggling injuries since arriving.
The former gaffer who was renowned for being a defensive minded coach feels the player is beginning to find his rhythm and would soon begin to produce his best performances.
“You look at a player like Tierney, who has so much potential, & you get the feeling that he will give everything on the park. He has that will to win & you can’t coach that desire” he said
“It was always the case that the Scottish players were known for their full-on energy & commitment & Kieran looks a bit like that. He does look like a throwback. He had a tough time with a bad injury, but there are signs that we’re going to see the best of him now” he concluded.
Arsenal will hope the verdict of their former boss proves true as they need everyone in peak condition in this final and critical lap of the season.
